Mother-Daughter workshop for 4th and 5th grade girls (and mothers – yes, together!):

Mothers, do you want to talk to your daughter about her changing body but don’t know how to get started? Or does your daughter stare at her shoes and shrug when you bring up the topic? Join other girls and women to tackle the subject together at an uplifting workshop which will address:

• Physical and emotional changes to expect in puberty
• Dealing with periods, fluctuating hormones and other aspects of the female experience
• Self esteem
• Body image
• And more!

Connect with other women and girls and plan to leave feeling good about being female. Session will be led by RN specialist, Amy Sluss.

Register early, class size limited. Register as a pair, one girl and one adult woman (mother, friend, aunt, grandmother).

Take-home materials include a gift for the girl and 2 informational CD products: one for moms and one for dads. The follow-up CDs were inspired by participants who wanted MORE. Now participants will take home 2 hours worth of more content/information to help parents raise strong self-assured girls.
