*These mother-daughter workshops are for girls and mothers to attend together. The intergenerational format (adult women and girls together) is carefully designed to teach content and to enrich relationships. Register for these events as a pair: one girl with one adult woman.
Yes, a woman other than a mother can accompany the girl! We want to serve all girls so any adult woman may bring a girl she cares about.

Growing Up Female (for 4th and 5th grade girls)*
Teach your daughter about body changes and the realities of being female in an uplifting environment with other girls and women. This workshop explores the normal changes that occur in girls as they grow into women, teaches girls how to deal with periods, breasts, and changing emotions, and it connects girls and adult women together in a powerful and positive way. The session is crafted to build self-esteem, positive body image, and a healthy sense of "being a girl." A warm and comfortable environment for questions, exploration, and learning, this experience sets the stage for future conversations and positive growth as your daughter transitions to adulthood.
Maneuvering Middle School (for girls entering or in middle school)*
This workshop offers girls and mothers a safe haven in the midst of the complexities and struggles of middle school. This session explores and promotes positive relationships (with friends, parents, and boys), healthy and realistic body-image for the teen years (and beyond), opens conversations about sex, and addresses emotional intelligence all in an uplifting safe environment.
This event is perfect for Girl Scout troops, National Charity League groups, and girls sports teams. Not involved with one of these? Dating and Sex, What's the BIG Deal? (for 9th and 10th grade girls)*
What is the purpose of dating? Why is sex such a hot topic in our minds and in our culture? We will explore, reflect, and share realities. By breaking open this topic together we gain insights, pool our collective wisdom, and establish a network of support around this challenging yet important topic.
Dating and Sex Part II
A continuation of Dating and Sex. The subject is far to complex to cover in one event. Subsequent events allow for more sharing, further flushing out of the complexities,and more practicle skill sharing for the girls. A win-win for girls, moms, and all of us, really.
From Girl to Woman, A Path to Follow (for 16-18 year-old girls)*
An uplifting coming-of-age experience ushers girls into the circle of adult women to share wisdom and blessings. Perfect for a special celebration (birthday, high school graduation, confirmation, etc.), this session can be designed for one girl (to gather with a group of women she is close to) or for a group of girls (school, scout, sports team, or church group). The gathering focuses on the positive aspects of being female and connects the emerging woman with trusted adult women who have "been there." In the process both generations are empowered and uplifted. Content includes issues of self identity, sexuality, career, and life balance.
Mother-Daughter Tea
A celebration for mother-daughter pairs from middle school and up through adulthood. This event is uplifting, empowering, and designed to connect girls and women to the goodness inside of each of them and to each other. A perfect event to celebrate the women and girls in your community, especially popular around Mother's Day.

The Joy and Challenge of Family
Family life is challenged by our fragmented and stressful culture. This program teaches participants how to maintain a close connection to those they call family. Skills for communication, resilience, and positive emotional exchange will be taught. The program is story based so it touches the heart while giving attendees concrete strategies they can use.
